GLOBAL SUPPORTER REFLECTION | MIA KYRICOS

Some voices remind us why this conversation matters.

Some voices remind us why this conversation matters.

Mia Kyricos, WDDD Supporter – USA, brings a perspective shaped by having experienced life both before and during the Digital Age.

Her message is simple, but important: technology has its place — but we have yet to find the right balance, especially for children.

What we found especially meaningful in Mia’s reflection is her belief that digital wellbeing is not only about what we ask others to do. It is also about what we model ourselves.

As she says, we all have a role to play in championing and modelling healthier digital behaviours.

And perhaps the most powerful reminder of all:

Whether online or offline, we must celebrate what connects us all — our humanity.

Thank you, Mia, for supporting World Digital Detox Day and for bringing your experience, honesty and voice to this global conversation.

Let’s keep learning from one another, sharing what works, and creating a healthier digital culture for current and future generations.
